But that's not balanced. The whole point of the nerf was to balance the weapons. If we're going to unbalance everything, lets return the lightsaber to 100 damage per tick, give them force absorb back, unbalance all the serious sam snipers, etc. Your logic makes no sense.

Serious Sam isn't that good compared to the DOOM3 weapons. The single shotguns from SS1/SS2 do up to 140 damage if you land a headshot with every projectile, DOOM3 shotgun does 168 without needing a headshot, has no recoil, and has a spread like nothing. The Double Shotgun from SS1/SS2 does 168 damage if every projectile is a headshot, DOOM3 Super Shotgun does over 300 damage without needing a headshot. SS1/SS2 Chainsaws do 25 damage per hit, DOOM3 chainsaw does 50. So explain how they're inferior to serious sam?
