just saying saint i wouldn't mind getting payed for making these, kthx papa
I made this to answer @SCMC's question.
This will also have a few MyBB formatting tricks for good measure.
Putting Images Anywhere (yes, SCMC, even in signatures.)
You may have noticed people putting images as their signature or in their replies to threads, or even threads in general. In order to do this, to start you'll have to have the image(s) in question (obviously), and a file sharing website to upload this image. Alternatively, if you're just using some picture off of a website, say, DeviantArt, you can use the download page as well.
If you want to add an image to your signature, as opposed to a post, and you (somehow) don't know how to change your signature, you have to go here at the top of your screen:
You'll be greeted with a menu similar (if not identical) to the full editor while making a post. Which means I get to put less effort into the tutorial you only need to memorize how to do this one way. All you have to do is click this icon at the top of the editor, add the link to the image (If you're using Dropbox, remember to replace "WWW." with "DL." Otherwise, the link won't work), then optionally the dimensions the image will be displayed in. If you got the link right, and the dimensions aren't super tiny, the editor should be displaying the image you just added. If you're in a hurry, you can use [lMG]URL_HERE[/lMG] in the quick editor, or even full editor if you're doing a signature.
I set my signature to an image so you can compare it to your own. I personally like to change the dimensions so it fits, and the user doesn't have to scroll down to see the whole thing.
What About Videos?
You can also add links to videos, which will put them in your post. Sadly, you can't set a video as your signature. To do it, click this icon , select your video platform from the dropdown menu (for some reason it's dailymotion by default), then add the link to the video you want. You should end up with something like this (though a different video, of course):
Well, I hope this helped someone. As I said in my previous tutorial, I might make more if I feel like it's needed. (that is, if people need help, or there's just an unusual spike in people not knowing how to do a thing)
i got lazy so i only added videos, instead of "a few" tricks
