Hello, my name is Sp3CtRuM and I'm applying to become an Operator on the Prop Hunt server(s).
Why Should I be an Operator?
One reading this may ask one or all of these questions, "Why should he become an Operator?", "What are his qualifications?" and "What will he accomplish if he gets the job?" Today, I am here to answer all three of these questions.
During the early morning hours of LFG Prop hunt (Server #2 in specific) all hell breaks loose: vulgarity, ghosting, mic spamming, and exploition of the map. Most of the time, players would only violate the rules once or twice but occasionally they will violate the rules and intentionally be a nuisance to the community. Unfortunately, these nuisances cause some of the more casual players to leave the server. You may ask, "Why is this a re-occurring issue?" The simple answer to that is, there are no online staff members. Therefore, I believe that I should become an Operator.
What are my qualifications?
I have quite a few qualifications, so here's a list of all of them.
1. I am an active member of the LFG PHunt community.
2. Whenever a new player needs help, I assist them.
3. I have recently donated to the LFG community.
4. I am online during the early hours of the morning, when none of the other Phunt staff are.
5. I am a very friendly individual, and will never be one of those "A-hole staff members" that you'll see on any other prop hunt server.
6. I always completely make sure that the convicted rule-breaker is responsible for what he/she has done, before any form of punishment.
Do I have any prior experience with being an Operator/Moderator?
Unfortunately, I have not been a staff member on any Gmod server. But on the contrary, I've been staff on servers from other, similar games (with servers) such as, Minecraft and Team Fortress 2. Overall, the concepts are very similar: Enforce the rules, don't abuse your power, be an active member of the community, etc...
What will I accomplish as an Operator?
There is one rule that is the most neglected. Players violate this specific rule hundreds (Or more) times on a daily basis, this rule is the "No ghosting" rule. I believe that ghosting ruins the fun for players with great hiding locations. Therefore, I will make it my primary goal to deter ghosters. In addition to enforcing the "No ghosting" rule, I will enforce the "No exploiting the map" rule.
In conclusion...
In conclusion, I accept and agree to the server's Admin/Operator rules.
