ShareX is a free program which allows you to take screenshots and upload them to various platforms.
/u is compatible with ShareX by using an automatically generated configuration file.
Once you download and install ShareX, select "Destinations" and then "Custom uploader settings..."
Then, copy all the text from this page. Do not share this configuration file with anyone as it gives them access to your account!
Please note that every time that page is loaded, it voids the previous configuration.
Now select "Import" and "From clipboard"
The configuration should be automatically populated. If it didn't, you copied it wrong.
Now you can close that window.
To set /u as the default image and file uploader, select "Destinations", "Image uploader", and select "Custom image uploader". Do the same for "Destinations", "File uploader".
ShareX is now configured to upload screenshots and files to /u.
Since you have used your customized configuration, the file limits are the same and your uploads will be logged so you can find them later on /u in your browser.
I recommend you set the "After capture tasks" to only open in editor rather than immediately upload. This will prevent accidental uploads, and will allow you to edit your screenshot. Once you're done editing the screenshot, you can select "Upload image" from the editor toolbar, or press Ctrl+U.
Additionally, you can upload files by right clicking them (if you didn't uncheck that during installation).
