On a different server they had forums kind of like these and they had this alert button. I think this would be an improvement to this website. It would be like this Alert(# of alerts). You should get an alert when you are tagged or when you are quoted. for example if you make a report against someone you can tag them so next time they get on they will see they have one alert and check it out. Then they will answer faster as they might not know they have a report against them.

I do plan on implementing them, and have planned on it for a while, but it's not that easy to implement or I would have already.

If the notification part is a problem then why can't you just do the same thing that you did with email notification for thread reply. If not then I was just spitballing ideas.

What are you talking about? You should already get emails when a thread you've responded to has been replied to.

I think Barth was saying set up the thing meta was talking about using the same system that is currently being used for thread notifications. I could be wrong and completely misreading it though

If that's what you meant @bartholemue, it's not that easy. Also I'm not saying setting up this addon will be too difficult either, I just need to actually do it.

That's exactly what I was saying. And that makes perfect sense. I was just throwing ideas out there.
