Just get rid of !workshop and make playermodels automatically download when players first join any of the server.

It can get annoying when people constantly keep saying they see an error, and not wanting to do !workshop
Make all the LFG servers automatically download the playmodels?

I want to say yes to this. I really do. There's so many reasons why this should be a thing.
However...
It would drastically increase the loading time for guests to connect to the servers because they have to download a bunch of playermodels.

I'm not disagreeing, just pointing out the reason why Saint might say no.

Maybe we should make it download a few of them only to get rid of some errors and then they type !workshop to download the rest of them

If anything the first time you join (or maybe add this to the MOTD) it should give you a popup that tells you to press f3 and download the content packs if you see errors or missing textures.

Im with Zellogi, It already is somewhat long to connect as is. Why add 13+ playermodels to add maybe 3-5 minutes? If they don't want to download it, thats their suffering. ;-; GG guests.

We're talking about people seeing walking errors. CS:Source is the textures for maps so you don't see purple and black untextured walls. Jon is suggesting adding the pointshop playermodels to the download server so everyone will see the playermodels instead of errors. This is in no way related to the maps needing CS:S to not look like garbage. 

But there's not a lot of people who don't have CS:S, as like 70% of gmod maps that aren't sandbox maps need them, especially ones like prop hunt and TTT.

I did this a few days ago, like most people now know you just type !workshop, click enable, and reconnect or wait for a map change. No subscribing and restarting gmod is necessary anymore.
