I know that I dodn't know you too well, and whether you did or didn't do certain things, everybody makes mistakes from time to time. As long as this all can get cleared up, I and plenty other absolutely wouldn't dislike you for it. Some will, some won't. Something like this isn't worth leaving for.

Either way, a lot of us are glad to have you here either way. Even if you aren't consultant anymore, you never seemed to give anybody a hard time and all. I don't expect a ton of people to get mad or have an issue with you staying/coming back.
