I think that with the current content that LFG has, it needs something to spice it up with preexisting addons, and some new ones that might change gameplay. For SBox 1.
Merydian's LFS Collection: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1704030334
An absolutely amazing pack of LFS planes and helicopters that would both serve to freshen up air-to-air combat and such both visually, and gameplay wise.
Features:
Remove Prototype LFS (if Merydian goes through): Self explanitory, but the AH-6 would take the place of the Prototype helicopters, so why keep the Prototype LFS?
J.I. Defense Solutions: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f...=295680095
The absolute perfect way to defend a base, with plenty of versatility. It can be used to set up traps for any invaders, anti-vehicle, and isn't extremely overpowered to the point where it's broken to use it.
Restrictions:
H0L-D4: Holographic Heads Up Display: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f...1705992410
To put it simply, the current HUD is outdated, and just overall imperfect and ugly. I think this HUD would work as the perfect replacement for the current HUD, as it's not only extremely customizatable, but has a wide array of features including framerate, numbers of players online, speed in vehicles, and ping. It's just overall better, and these elements can also just be straight up hidden.
Allow admins to permaban: Throughout my experience on the server, I have found myself having to ban people for the maximum (1 week) limit several times (not per person, separate cases from each other), and then those same excessive rulebreakers to come back with a week or something, including scripters/cheaters. Removing the middleman directly is probably the best way to properly and permanently punish these rulebreakers, although I can see how it can be abused. What should happen in the case of a permaban is that the admin carrying out the permaban, or someone else, should have to provide visual proof (videos) IF/After the person was permabanned, especially if they give a ban appeal. Therefore, the admin should always have proof on hand of why they banned, otherwise it might be seen as abuse/false if absolutely no evidence is given.
Removing the Orb Launcher: No one uses the orb launcher and it isn't very effective in general, even with the variety of orb types it can shoot, it's just not useful enough to keep in the server.
Shambles Day: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=191110821
We have the night version, so why not the day version as well? A lot easier to see, but still functions the same as the other map.
Goldencity Day: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f...1443096823
Same reason as to add in Shambles day.
GM_excess island night: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f...=156992404
Read above.
Ragdoll Fight: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=974263626
Fun addon, alternative to normal fighting, could be used to host events or something. It's just Mortal Kombat in Gmod.
Remove WAC altogether: LFS is pretty clearly putting WAC to pasture, and very few players use it period. It seems to be taking up server space just sitting there, so why not remove it?
