I think a reduction would be best, because killing RDMers, is still RDM, and its been said way too many times that it's better to be RDMed than to kill them and risk being karma banned, especially if your karma is already shitty. At least if they kill you, you can report them and let the staff do their job, and you can avoid the ban hammer.
