You can just clientside mute them. If you hold tab, you'll see a speaker icon next to their name. Click it, and magically they shut up. Problem solved.

ok well he may be stupid (to you) but this is still good to have cause he is obviously a mic spammer, so im happy he didnt just mute him he instead recorded him

so dont call people "fucking stupid" without thinking more about the report

I mean, I'm belittling him because reporting a mic spammer without a command to work on their steamid isn't that useful. Sure we can watch out for him, but chances of him coming back are slim, especially if he's seen/read this report. Gagging commands don't work unless the player is connected. Yes we have the evidence, but now that the player isn't there, we can't DO anything about it except maybe temporarily ban the player, but that's a bit extreme for a first offense. I do hope you understand where I'm coming from.

oh you were doing more than belittling him, and he was successful about what he did so he probably will come back (no guarantee)
