Another Removal thread | VFIRE

            This addon, while nice on singleplayer should never be used on a multiplayer server. First off almost daily on the server one person goes pyromaniac and everyone starts begging to not only extinguish the flames but just straight up remove the addon, not only does it constantly annoy people and provide an easy way of spawn trapping and insta killing on maps that still don't have spawn protection on them, but it also breaks older flame based things we still use on this server. last and most important, the frame drops and lag that it causes, box literally banned someone for a week for spamming vfire. honestly lfg without vfire would be way better.

Yeeah ima have to go with a yes on this one, It is nice to have, but is realllly easy to lag the server with, throw down like 5-6 molitovs, on a map like desert bus, and the server lags to hell, it does break some other fire based things.

I'm gonna say yeah. It was fun for a while, but now it's kinda become a stale addon. People end up spamming it way too often and it becomes more of a nuisance than a cool thing.

Why not just remove molotovs and maybe restrict the fire balloon? VFire on its own is fun when fires start from shit aside from arson, And we have vote extinguish for a reason and it passes low. Impact on the server is relatively low and the only people who have issues is the fucking pentium rigs, of which we apparently have 15

That would help quite a bit since thats exactly how fires happen so often and so quickly.
