I still can't see the chatbox without going to the link

This is because you use Brave. It works fine in Edge, Firefox, and Chrome.

You can get it to work in Brave with a simple tweak. Go to brave://settings/cookies and add chat.lfgs.co to the allowed cookie list.

Another update:

You can now adjust the size of the chatbox to make it bigger (minimum size remains the same). And it will remember.

Some more Chat updates:

Embedded changes:

• The emoji selector is now positioned better when the chat window is made larger than default.
  
• The reaction emoji selector is now bigger. However the positioning is goofy when chat window is made much larger than default.
  
• The message menu (where you can choose to quote, etc.) no longer has a horizontal scroll bar.
  

Push notifications are now enabled for mobile.

Spigot has been updated to 1.16.5
mcMMO has been updated to 2.1.174
BlockLocker has been updated to 1.9.2

l. has been updated to the latest version. The most notable changes are improved support for UTF8 characters in URLs and titles, and updated icons such as the favicon.

9/18/21 - Forums Update

The forums have been updated to the latest version. This change includes:

• Updated attachment manager (drag&drop functionality)
  
• Bots (Bing, Google, etc.) no longer count towards thread views
  
• 100+ other fixes and improvements
  

Some other changes have also been made:

• The chatbox integration can be toggled off. This is helpful if you keep chat open in its own tab
  
• Steam signatures have been fixed (Staff page/contact page on profiles)
