If so, Dragonrider should be permanently banned for his crash dupes, but no one really cared then.
While In a way it makes sense, you are forgetting that anyone can make an e2 like this with little to no effort. 90% of the code is just there to make it look nice. Hell, my first e2 was dedicated to making an LFS targeting module to deal with the AI LFS spam when they were first introduced. The actual important guts of this system took about 15 minutes to make, and don't use any hard to understand parts of e2. Its less of a machine gun and more of a particularly sharpened stick.
Beyond that, anyone smart enough to make a working modification to the e2 would be smart enough to make their own far more powerful version. Bengis mentioned in main forum chat that he could try to change the health, but there's nothing stopping someone who has the brainpower to do it from removing the health, range, and power limits entirely. If he actually knew anything about how e2 worked, he could for instance make it directly spawn and detonate explosives on the LFS, or if he was particularly malicious, all players on the server.
While e2 is powerful and there's little stopping it from leveling the server entirely, that isn't something I do or give others the power to do. I gave out a "server destroying" Anti LFS turret that has limits. I did not give out the rendering engine destorying e2, the unblockable server crasher, or the full server collsion breaker e2s, among others. Anyone smart enough to start doing that wouldn't need any of my help to do so.
