I have found an unrestricted explosive entity that can be used with the Sent function to spawn it in and target players with e2 explosives.  This is something that needs to be restricted

The name of the entity is arctic_avx_atgm

I don't really know why it's an entity, but those are specifically designed to target down tanks (of course because it's called an ATGM) but is somehow used to destroy aircraft

How is it normally used?
Perhaps the entity should be restricted, but either way if someone spawns it with E2 that's clearly against the rules already.

It is used in the Anti-LFS E2, a popular E2 created by Alexcat2 that is used to target players and LFS vehicles with explosives to blow them up, in simple terms this is basically an unrestricted explosive that can be spawned in (you have every other single explosive entity restricted) this thing has no design to it its just an explosive.  It's just another version of the explosive barrel and it is only used by e2s to assist.  If you restrict this you will patch all current explosive e2 abuse for the time being.

It isnt used to target anything, ive spawned the entity and it just sits there, of course e2 applyforce or some shit could move it around but thats about it. Its basically just a barrel that explodes on impact

Restricting the ATGM wouldn't do much of anything, people would quickly find new ways of doing it, using either our barrels or whatever else. TBH if someone really wanted to they could even use cars themselves

So your answer is to do nothing?  This needs to be restricted.

Y'all know that explosives are more or less legal now, Saint never restricted the entire setup from the nukes mod (and I mean we have nukes now, that should say something).

The ATGM isnt really worse then any other explosive. Instead of a typical prop it spawns in as a fired RPG round, complete with sounds, and also has no gravity.

If we could not have it removed that would be nice, as if it is abused you can just ban the person or wireban them. There's nothing inherently bad about the ATGM, it just lets us make cool things on occasion.

For starters from when I have been on mostly that E2 has fallen by the wayside, and if your still mad about it just voteban or ban the person for using it. Hell, I even made something that only shields from the LFS and is explicitly allowed by the rules, anyone not using that has nothing to defend themselves with.

If you restrict this you will patch all current explosive e2 abuse for the time being.

It has never been used for anything that was not against the rules before.

The Gulf War Simfphys tanks can fire an ATGM, (only the BMP-2 and T-72) mainly to destroy other tanks, dealing a fair amount of damage to the tanks
