ShareX is a free program which allows you to take screenshots and upload them to various platforms.
/u is compatible with ShareX by using an automatically generated configuration file.

Once you download and install ShareX, select "Destinations" and then "Custom uploader settings..."

Then, copy all the text from this page. Do not share this configuration file with anyone as it gives them access to your account!
Please note that every time that page is loaded, it voids the previous configuration.

Now select "Import" and "From clipboard"

The configuration should be automatically populated. If it didn't, you copied it wrong.

Now you can close that window.

To set /u as the default image and file uploader, select "Destinations", "Image uploader", and select "Custom image uploader". Do the same for "Destinations", "File uploader".

ShareX is now configured to upload screenshots and files to /u.
Since you have used your customized configuration, the file limits are the same and your uploads will be logged so you can find them later on /u in your browser.

I recommend you set the "After capture tasks" to only open in editor rather than immediately upload. This will prevent accidental uploads, and will allow you to edit your screenshot. Once you're done editing the screenshot, you can select "Upload image" from the editor toolbar, or press Ctrl+U.

Additionally, you can upload files by right clicking them (if you didn't uncheck that during installation).

If you are experiencing errors on LFG Gmod servers, you are most likely missing required content.

Different content packs are used for different portions of the server.

CSS is needed for almost every map on every server.

TF2 is used for PointShop hats on every server, and props on Sandbox.

LFG Content should be automatically downloaded and is used for PointShop playermodels, trails, and weapons.

You can determine if you're missing CSS or TF2 content by either opening the PointShop, or by typing "!contentcheck ^".
In the PointShop, the bottom will either have a red X or a green ✔ next to the content pack. If they're marked with an X, you can either download the game from Steam, or download the content for free from our guide.
LFG Content most likely has an alert symbol next to it. LFG Content refers to the custom playermodels we use. Playermodels are automatically downloaded as players equip them, so they may appear as errors in the PointShop. There is no need to manually subscribe unless you're having problems with automatic download. You can manually subscribe to all playermodels here.
If you're having problems getting downloads for specific server content, refer to the Quick Links below.
