I probably will never stop having ideas for Sandbox.
So my first idea, even though I worked on it, is to remove the scifi weapons, as ever since it's been added, players timing out is at an all time high, because almost all of them shoot entities and if they don't have the addon, it crashes them. I was originally gonna suggest replacing them with some other weapons, but I haven't found any that were reasonable in size relative to content, so if someone can find something to replace it with thats not morbidly huge in size, that'd be great.
Second idea is to either extend the map vote timer, or to remove it (ads still pop up every x minutes) because quite often players will be building or coding E2 (me included) and a mapvote will happen, and we wanna extend the map, but since more people vote to change the map, we lose whatever we're working on. Plus, I've seen map changes happen every mapvote for an hour or so, and 20 minutes doesn't seem like a lot of time. So we should either extend the mapvote timer, or just remove it entirely and let admins change the map when necessary. This will, of course, not impact the flow of ads for non-donating players as that can stay at every 20 minutes. Just lower the frequency of map changes because 20 minutes doesn't seem like very long to do stuff.
Third and last idea is to replace the FA:S 2.0 weapons on Sandbox to CW 2.0, and the reason I suggest this, is when I was looking through the workshop for the first idea, I noticed a large amount of weapons run off the CW base, and almost none run off the FA:S base, so suggesting weapons to be added in the future would be simplified if we had CW 2.0 as our main weapon pack. Another reason is that for some reason when reloading FA:S shotguns, it causes script errors. The only one exempt from this is the TOZ shotgun. Plus, the kill icons broke, and CW comes with kill icons already added into the pack, so that's a bonus too.
