Advanced Duplicator 2 can be used too easily to spawn minge contraptions and ruin the server, as the duplications carry cross servers. Advanced Duplicator 1 prevents this by forcing the dupes to be unique to each server.

I also heard this could really be abused, so if we were going to implement it, it would have to be limited to at least trusted, so people can't dupe their crashy shit on LFG.

Actually Advanced Duplicator doesn't prevent this because they can save the projects to their own data folder and upload it to the new server and take it with them to any server that has advanced duplicator.

Any thing that dupes things can be abused. The duplicator tool was restricted cause it was a whole lot easier to get laggy and mingy stuff.
