Discussion about the Incendiary Grenade

Since nobody else wanted to make it, I'll start the discussion about incends

T is camping in a room like a pussy, throw an incen.
Definitely logical.

If a T is camping in a room, that's against the rules as long as majority of players are dead and he can be slain for delay. Either way, you can just wait out the timer and win. No need to use an incend.

I would like to keep the incendiary granades as they are right now. its not that big of an issue and incendiary granades are always useful

But retards like to run into incends to intentionally drop players' karma. Thats why the discussion to change/remove them exists.

I've used incends before if I knew a traitor was chasing me and I wanted to slow them down...

As traitor i've thrown incends through portals to damage and cause disorder among people there, I think theyre pretty useful.

I suggest adding this rule to deter people from running into incendiary grenades.

-Do not run into incendiary grenades with the intent to reduce the karma of the thrower.
Saint will decide the punishment if this is added.

It's probably best to add some kind of rule against abusing other players incends. IDK what the punishment should be, probably a slay.

Only other solution I can think of would be to straight up remove incends, and that's probably not the best idea. (As a side note, I've never seen a server with this issue as bad as this one. IDK why)

II. Decrease Radius of the burn
III. Nerf the damage to 2 or 3 (I think its at 6 currently)
IV. Do all of the above

Honestly, I like this rule. It'll keep the assholes and such from running into other innocent's thrown incens, (even though you shouldn't be throwing them in the first place, really.) 

It's should be relatively easy to enforce to, just look at the retard that's going to stand in the middle of the flames and die there, or get there until they're near death.

The burn time decrease was in theory to make it so people who run into it to get someone karma banned don't burn as long

We could add a rule that shows up on the MOTD saying
DO NOT RUN INTO FIRE WITH THE INTENT OF GETTING A PLAYER KARMA BANNED THIS IS A SLAYABLE OFFENSE

honestly how tf has no one suggested this? RDM via incend takes less karma away than a normal rdm
