my computer got some dank ass malware that crashes it as soon as you try to open norton or any program that would scan the computer expect me to be gone 3-5 days while i reset the computer and get my games back on i will mostly be on my shitty pc that gets 14 fps on sandbox but not likley

pretty sure opening windows defender wouldnt crash your computer, as it's hard-coded into your system, not easy to infect. Also what did you download that gave you this "dank ass malware"( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

If you're on Windows 10, just do Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Reset this PC > Remove everything

It would create ads on anything that used internet saying are you sure you want to open this? and if you click no it would transfer you to a page that never loads and if you pressed yes it would do the same.

It would also pop up on steam when i tried to go to my libriary. even on the google homepage
