I'm not really on sandbox, usually when its full. But when I am, the chat isnt all that chaotic. -vouch. I could at least understand who I was talking to in there. ;-; That's all I needed.

-vouch. People don't chat that much on sandbox, they either use their microphone, or are too busy building something to type anything. Admins don't have to compete with people using chat when solving issues. Don't really see any point in this.

I suggest that you read up on the many posts that have been made on this thread, lots of very good reasons and ideas have come up recently! Smile

The only decent reason I've seen dealt with how it could be used for partys.

In which case team chat could be assigned for private chat within parties. As Zellogi said, this is more of a DarkRP thing.

Because making multiple threads about the same thing is dumb.

And making chat proximity would be a nightmare for admins to attempt to moderate it. I could also do "opt-in" proximity chat, but that's pointless unless everyone has it. I just don't think this is a good idea at all.
