ancient forcefully changing the map without a vote

Description of offense and evidence (screen shots, logs, etc.):
I have no screenshot but i do have a lot of witnesses, there was someone doing the fading door exploit so that the screen was fully black, the admins were accessing the situation and trying to figure out who was doing it, but before we could do it ancient said he would "fix" it and forced the map to be changed without doing a vote or telling the other admins as they were trying to fix this.  So everyones bases dissapeared

Can his abilities to change maps be revoked

I didnt know there was another way to fix i checked the plogs/console everthing I knew.

And when you were fixing why didn't you inform at least me as well that there can be something done to fix it

I don't think he should have his map changing abilities revoked, most people don't know how to fix that particular exploit so a map change is their only option. Voting on it would make people be blinded for longer, I feel like a map change is the quickest method to fix the problem if you don't know the actual fix.

it would be different if the other admins didnt know what to do, but they did and where trying to fix it cause not everyone was affected by this and its not like the server was gonna die in seconds, he should have told the other admins so that they could say yes or no

Or maybe you can tell them how to undo it since you know how to do it as well. The process to undo it is literally the same way you do it, except using 255,255,255 as the color. So instead of reporting an admin for doing his job, maybe assist the admins by telling them how to properly fix it.

I was telling XL4tw and j3kawesome how to do it and they were trying to figure it out so you cant say that i didnt try to help

It just sounds like really bad communication. I don't really think it is abuse if he is trying to fix something without hurting anyone.

I stand corrected then. I still stand by miscommunication but now not as all over the place as I thought.

-vouch, this is a petty attack, as the admin was clearly trying to fix a problem the best way he knew how at the time (probably doesn't even know how to troubleshoot the fading door glitch) So instead of showing him how to fix it, you launch a petty report?

On another note: It's been awhile since someone has abused fading door, but @"卐Demonik1卐" showed me the fading door glitch and how to fix it (and catch the person responsible)... Just really convenient that @"卐Demonik1卐" was online at the time that that problem decided to magically reappear after being gone for weeks-months...

I'd be very interested in what the logs have to say around the time it happened...
